‘Stranger Things’ virtual reality video

Earlier this week, Netflix quietly posted a short, two-minute VR experience on YouTube that takes us back into the home of the Byers family as they receive a phone call from the Upside Down dimension. The VR environment is a perfect replica of the set in the series and the creepy atmospherics instantly transport you back into the Stranger Things world despite the different platform.

This thrilling Netflix-original drama stars award-winning actress Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, who lives in a small Indiana town in 1983 — inspired by a time when tales of science fiction captivated audiences. When Joyce’s 12-year-old son, Will, goes missing, she launches a terrifying investigation into his disappearance with local authorities. As they search for answers, they unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries involving secret government experiments, unnerving supernatural forces, and a very unusual little girl.

Panama Papers: Mossack Fonseca leaks elite’s tax havens

David Cameron is dragged into tax havens storm: Huge data leak reveals conjuring trick used by his father’s firm as Prime Minister refuses to confirm his family still makes money from offshore investments

Ian Cameron, his father, was a director of Blairmore Holdings Inc which was named in the leaked “Panama Papers” of rich and famous people who use havens to protect their wealth.

What’s Britain’s response to the revelations?

“HMRC can confirm that we have already received a great deal of information on offshore companies, including in Panama, from a wide range of sources, which is currently the subject of intensive investigation,” HMRC director-general of enforcement and compliance Jennie Grainger told PA.

“We have asked the ICIJ to share the leaked data that they have obtained with us. We will closely examine this data and will act on it swiftly and appropriately.

“Our message is clear: there are no safe havens for tax evaders and no-one should be in any doubt that the days of hiding money offshore are gone. The dishonest minority, who can most afford it, must pay their legal share of tax, like the honest majority already does.”

The Panama Papers

The 11.5 million leaked files from Panama-based law firm Mossack Fonseca, show how Mossack Fonseca has helped clients launder money, dodge sanctions and avoid tax.

President Francois Hollande hailed the “good revelations” which would “increase tax revenues from those who commit fraud”.

As a registered agent, the Mossack Fonseca law firm incorporates companies in tax havens worldwide for a fee. It has avoided close scrutiny from US law enforcement officials.

Mossack Fonseca denied all accusations of illegal activity.

“We have not once in nearly 40 years of operation been charged with criminal wrongdoing,” spokesman Carlos Sousa said. “We’re proud of the work we do, notwithstanding recent and willful attempts by some to mischaracterize it.”

Do you need a health coach, or Not!

Do you feel you’re missing out on something?

If you’re one of the lucky 2% on this planet for whom money is not an issue and you delegate any given task (I wouldn’t blame you), then don’t read on.

Health Coaching is an example of a service that started as a trend between the rich and wealthy and is now trickling down to the average income person.

The in thing now is to be either a health coach or being coached by one. Another cost for gratifying your inner being and for being healthy. But If you’d rather spend this money on a nice vacation or on an enriching experience and still want to be healthy and at the top of your game, then here’s the deal.

Taking charge of your health is a do it yourself (DIY) must, plus doing things yourself is the hip thing nowadays. Why can’t we decide nowadays for ourselves what to eat and what to wear and use our common sense, like it has always been over the past centuries of human existence? Some might argue that you should leave it to the professionals, but this is somewhat irrelevant here because it’s basic eating and physical effort and not an open heart surgery.

So to sum it up: Continue reading Do you need a health coach, or Not!

Adam Levine lost his mind over Jordan Smith’s ‘Voice’ performance and you will too

Did Jordan Smith simply win The Voice? To not jinx it … however sure.

Did Jordan Smith simply win The Voice? To not jinx it … however sure.

If there’s any justice on this Voice world, Smith can be topped the champ of this season, and you needn’t search for one more reason aside from the efficiency above.

On Monday night time’s present the Kentucky native pulled out an unimaginable cowl of Queen’s “Someone to Love” that blew the viewers — and coach Adam Levine — utterly away.

Backed by a choir, Smith’s efficiency will almost certainly remind Glee followers of the New Instructions’ Season 1 tackle the music, which leaned closely on a choral factor to the basic track, and it was an ideal selection for Smith’s vocals.

One factor is for positive, although — Levine positive liked it.

Take away the seizure-inducing lighting. Take away the full choir that backed him from Note One. Take away obnoxious Adam Levine’s mugging and whooping and literal mic-dropping. Strip all of the accouterments away, and what are you left with? This week, in Jordan’s case, a stunning and peacock-ian vocal — grandiose but utterly self-assured, dialed in to the desperation of the lyric, and yet also self-aware enough to betray the occasional “whoa, I am totally slaying this!” grin. My underdog-loving heart may never totally embrace him — and my heart-over-head inclinations may never prompt me to download him — but this week, I have to tip my hat to Jordan and recognize his shutting-s**t-down fabulosity. He sung what he brung, and even if Mark Burnett & Co. had it wrapped up in a bow beforehand, he stole the semifinals anyhow.

‘The Big Bang Theory’ Episode 9×10 Sheldon and Amy Development

The Big Bang Theory is officially preparing a huge present for the series’ fans and for Sheldon losing his virginity!

According to ET, who spoke to the cast of The Big Bang Theory ahead of Season 9’s return on December 10 at 8 p.m. ET, Sheldon Cooper and his beloved Amy Farrah Fowler are going to have sex this season.

CBS had already announced that Sheldon and Amy were going to be having sex for the first time on the December 17 midseason finale of “The Big Bang Theory.

Come December 10, Sheldon and Amy are getting back together! The good thing about this is that it keeps us from having to wait any longer to learn if Amy will remain perpetually heartbroken after he turned her down following their trip to the aquarium. While we may not always understand what she sees in him (mostly because he isn’t always the nicest), there is obviously something that keeps her invested in the two having a life together.

In an interview with Glamour, Mayim Bialik, who plays Amy on The Big Bang Theory,  said that she was surprised when she found out that Amy and Sheldon will finally have sex in season 9.

“I was honestly surprised. I didn’t know if we were ready for it. There’s so much that goes on, but Jim and I were both surprised that the writers were ready to take it to this level right now,” she said.

Bialik added that she found out about the storyline the night before the table read. Both she and Parsons couldn’t believe what they read in the script.

“The Big Bang Theory” season 9 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

50 Years of Bond Girls

The lastest James Bond movie, Skyfall, hit US theatres, and with everyone talking about Daniel Craig and comparing him to the previous Bond actors.

The women in the movies deserve their own recognition for their captivating names and characters that they played and the amazing clothes they wore. And now, thanks to a clever graphic from a London- based marketing agency, you can see every single iconic Bond girl outfit on one picture.

Big Group has created an ‘infographic’ featuring 77 of the most memorable looks from 1962’s debut Bond film Dr No all the way through to upcoming movie Spectre, starring Daniel Craig.

As there is no clear definition of what actually constitutes a Bond girl, the brand chose stand-out characters whose clothing was significant and of note.

Limited by space, they chose outfits that were worn for the most amount of time and during the most memorable scenes. The ruled out functional get-ups and disguises.
